Upholstered Benches for Your Hotel: The Polstergeist

It’s a little scary how I often end up writing about creepy furniture. There were the arm and leg sculptures of Salvador Dali, immortalized in brass and used as tables and chairs. There was the weird modern art chair that looked like some kind of predator crouching in wait for its next sitting victim. And now, we have the Polstergerist.
No, I didn’t typo that. We’re not talking noisy spirits here, just the Christine Schwarzer Polstergeist Sofa Bench. The name caught my attention, since I’m rather fanatically fond of the old horror movie, ‘Poltergeist’. But the looks of the sofa got me hooked. I like it. It’s something very different, and its vivid green color and ectoplasmic shape reminds me of the green slime from ‘Ghost Busters’. (Sadly, it also reminds me of the exterior paint on my first car.)
This sofa bench is fully upholstered, and has an inner frame of steel and wood to handle even the most vigorous occupants. The upholstery itself is made from molded polyurethane foam, covered with leather or fabric – customer’s choice. It has a runner made from chromed steel, and you can have your choice of one or two back rests – or none at all.
There’s just something uncanny about the Polstergeist. Summon it into your hotel lobby and see how much business you can scare up. You’ll frighten the competition. Don’t be haunted by your choices in furniture. You don’t want your hotel to become a ghost town, do you? (Someone stop me, please. I can’t do it by myself…)
